Our Products
Each session is of a 30 minute duration. All swimming times are dependent on the injury, condition, age and stamina/fitness capabilities of the dog.
All sessions are payable in advance or on the day of the swim.
Rehabilitation - For dogs directly after surgery/injury. Swimming builds up affected areas slowly, but efficiently. Treatment is determined by the length of time between injury and receiving hydrotherapy.
Advanced Rehabilitation – For conditions that need ongoing therapy after surgery and the rehabilitation course. Weekly or fortnightly sessions.
Obesity – Exercise designed to assist in weight loss, along with a diet recommended by a Veterinary Surgeon.
Basic – Appropriate for dogs with no current injury or condition, who enjoy swimming and have owners who appreciate the benefits of using a sanitised purpose built swimming pool.
The Pool
The pool at Highhouse Canine Hydrotherapy measures,
3.3 m x 2.2 m x 1.1 m
It also has optional high powered jets and the water is heated to between 25'c and 30’c.
The pool water is tested at least 3 times per day to ensure the highest water quality possible.
